Game cards The British, of course, have their own form of bingo cards, but the Canadian and American layouts are globally popular. Both are marked with 25 squares in five columns of five rows, with all but the middle containing a number up to 75 (the middle square is your “free space” which you can mark from the off). The letters B – I – N – G – O appear across the top of the card, with each column corresponding to a fixed group of numbers, like so:

B – Numbers 1 to 15

I – Numbers 16 to 30

N – Numbers 31 to 45

G – Numbers 46 to 60

O – Numbers 61 to 75.

How to Play Free Online Bingo Games and Traditional Bingo

Step One – Each player receives a card marked with a combination of numbers.

Step two – All players and the caller agree on winning terms.

The caller does not have a game card, but draws and announced the numbers in each round of the game.

The most common winning patterns in bingo are:

  • One line

  • Two lines

  • Full card

  • Four corners

  • Postage stamp

  • Internal square (4×4 in the centre)

  • Kite (3×3 diamond)

Step three – Each number drawn = one turn. The caller draws a ball with the number on it, and announces it to all players.

Step Four – The caller puts aside the ball, and continues to draw the next one.

Step Five – At every draw, the players check whether the number called is on their coupon. If it is, they mark it.

Step Six – This process is repeated until one player has completed an entire pre-defined winning pattern.

Step Seven – The winner shouts “BINGOOOO!” quickly and loudly.
